I think If you have time at home, you can try to introduce your child flashcard and read book. My boy can recognise from 1-5 before he reaches 1 year old, and by now 20 months, he knows all alphabet, number from 1 to 20, alnimal flashcard, vegetable, shape and color (which I bought all from Popular bookshop) and plenty of songs also. I think the most important is Patient, you need to have patient when sit down with your child.
As I know from my friend, bringing his kid to shichida for trial but end up cannot take it as the class is too fast and your child could not concentrate.
Have fun teaching and playing with your little kiddo, he will love it
