If your baby was sleeping in the cot earlier, then this may be a passing phase. Infants like to be carried and the human touch and once we do that it doesn’t take time to become a habit. Like icy_mama said don’t rock him too much, let him take comfort from the warmth he gets from you and gently put him down when you think he’s about to fall asleep. Don’t worry, we have been through this and it passes soon.

Often the fussiness is caused by hunger, and the baby needs to eat. Other factors can cause baby’s fussiness and eating during this time might not be a good idea. Determined if baby’s fussiness is caused by hunger, and then use these tips to get him to eat. Check for possible sources of baby’s irritation before trying to feed her. She should have a dry diaper, a clean nose, and if she’s teething, some pain reliever medication as directed by your pediatrician. Be aware of what else could be causing fussiness. If your baby had his shots within the past few days, he just may not feel very good. Prepare foods that you know she will eat. Don’t allow her to fill up on milk first and then try to feed solids. A tummy full of milk won’t want to eat. Thanks and Regards,Diapees Andwipees

The "spider" game, where I pretend that my fingers are a spider, and if they cannot stop the "spider" (by squashing it or flipping it away) fast enough, it will tickle them! It is interesting to note that none of them till today are scared of spiders, haha.2. The "flying" game, where I bring them up in the air (still holding on to them!) either like a swing, or simply hanging above me. My younger loved it and could not get enough of that game, but my firstborn and youngest wanted me to stop after just a few minutes (thank God!).
