2013 P1 Registration Exercise for 2014 In-Take
-
why not? we are working parents we alrdy took leave to reg the kids since its working hour. Since only 1 vacancy left everybody would
just think the ballot is transparent and monitored by MOE. What for to be there then?[/quote]
This morning I was at the school to see the P1 performance and I saw many parents came out of the school after the balloting. So, it’s not that no one turned up for the balloting. -
I had witnessed the balloting today. There are 2 set of twins in the balloting. For twin ball, there will be 2 nums printed onto the ball. When one of the twin ball was rolled out, it took up 2 seats. Another twin ball rolled out, it took up another 2 seats. In the event if the last being rolled out, the school will accept both sibing.
Good luck! -

Hi, anyone can advise. If a school has 70 seats in Phase 2c and there are 60 SC applied n 20 PRs. All 60 SC regardless of distance will get priority to enter first n take up 60 seats. The remaining 10 seats will be given to the 20 pr thru balloting?
Thanks -

Yes, SC is given absolute priority so the 60 SC will get in first than 20 PR will ballot for the remaining 10 places assuming they are all within 1km else priority is given based on distance ie <1km, 1-2km and >2kmHi, anyone can advise. Yup all 60 SCs will go in.Hi, anyone can advise. If a school has 70 seats in Phase 2c and there are 60 SC applied n 20 PRs. All 60 SC regardless of distance will get priority to enter first n take up 60 seats. The remaining 10 seats will be given to the 20 pr thru balloting?

The 20 PRs will be subjected to the distance rule. If all within 1km then balloting for the 20PRs, if some within 1km, 1-2km and >2km then the number of PRs at each distance will determine at which distance balloting will be conducted. -

all 60 SC will take up the places first, then the remaining 10 will be allocated out to the remaining 20 PR based on distance, if within a distance, there are more PR than place, then ballot within that distance. -
I thought Phase 2b and Phase 2C suppose to have 50% in each. 2 girls’ schools have more seats allocated to 2B than 2C that caught my attention. How could that be?

Can I ask everyone here, the balloting for all school is drawing balls with those bingo/toto machines?
Pv balloting was only a big bowl with all the paper number folded and first number drawn by staff then winner draw the next and so on…
omo…if by machine is sooo scary…I am having doubts now… -

Is it extra by 1?
If after P2A2, the vacancies left is 23, then P2B will have 12 and P2C will have 11.
