      Song22:
Anyone knows approximately how many kids went for the selection camp?

      About 400.

For those going for interview is definitely a good sign. This shows that NUSH is very interested in those kids, as they are strong academically but might not doing well in the camp. Just like post PSLE, kids have to go for interview after being selected.

Last year, my colleagueโ€™s DD didnโ€™t go for interview also got CO.

Actually, felt bad for  for those kids who went interview and didn't get in. I have been telling my son as well (who didn't call up for interview), telling him to be mentally prepared that he did not get in. Then the disappointment won't be so bad right?

Sculi is, all those that have chance got called up for interview. Those didn't get called up for interview game over liow.

I mean, they are only accepting 153 students, still sent so many students for interview? How many of these interviewed students are they selecting to accept? Can't be out of these so many students, they are only accepting like 10 right? :slapshead:
NUSH has a potential intake of 170 per cohort (90% DSA - 153, PSLE >262 (17) ) yearly. Yet the actual registration of the cohort size(DSA+PSLE) so far is less than 150. In my DD year (2011), the intake was only 129, 2012 intake was about 13? Year 2013 ??

I don't remember if there were any interviews in 2011 intake. What I do know is that every year at least 30+ COs and ?? WLs were not taken up. So those interviews are meant for more potential candidates on WLs. May be they increase the no of potential candidates on WL.. Having said that NUSH could be increasing the cohort size to something more representative especially the number of female students.

So those on interviews could be WLs and most WLs are almost certain CO on PSLE result day.

Was it announced that results will be out next week? If interviews are being carried out next week, will they be able to make a decision so quickly?

Thought the NUS High School Preview session is on 17 August (Saturday)? If that is the case, the selection results will have to be out latest by next week isn't it? :scratchhead:

Cos the next stage will be the acceptance offer to attend their school preview on the 17-Aug.
Meaning to say the school will have to send out the results to those who have selected few days before that.. Which is next week
                  Am I correct?

If interviews are conducted only on Monday, then they might release the outcome by next Tuesday evening?

My guess only - the school might have already decided on those to give rejects or confirmed offers. For those being interviewed and thus, less certain cases, the decision should be fairly fast once they talked to the students.
