Hi ponyo.
besides what tri-mum suggested, u can also help your girl by labelling 2 L-shaped plastic folders {write on the sticky part of the positpad, together with her name & class & just paste it on the folder}. 1 is for 'To bring home', the other for 'To return to teacher'. Also, thanks for your detailed direction guide via the stairs  (I've been wondering where exactly it is for a long time), I'll definitely try it the next time round.
I do the folder labelling for my girl to help teach her some organisational skills - she need to identify what docs goes to which folder when she has docs from sch & when she packs her bag every nite...heehee this actually helps me keep track of which are the docs/forms that parents need to know/sign & return...
And, does anyone here have kids in the YMCA student care? I've signed up for the NASCANS and wondering if any parents can share their experience with NASCANS... -

Hi Snowflake
Thanks for the tip on getting organised. Will try it out. :hugs:
Hi all,
anyone signing up for tap dancing? Finally got the form (crumpled as usual) last Friday. Am a little concerned about the timing though. The class finishes at 2.30pm but school bus (for CCAs) only leaves at 4.30. What's going to happen in that 2 hours :?
Can't possibly let the young one loiter around in school. Anyone with any ideas to share :?:
Cheers

Thanks, snowflake.
Looks like they have started studying  They are doing number bonds and stellar writing ( h/w) ABCs, spelling (2moro for my dd). how about yours?
for the tap dancing, 1st day do we have to go n pay the money or just pass it through dd?
the classes ending at 2.30 the van pick up is around 4 so during the 1.30 hrs who is going to be in charge for them? at what time the canteen closes?

Hi plum-cake
spoke to the school staff and the gist of the answer is that since this is an enrichment, the parents will have to make arrangements to pick up the child or wait for the 4.30 bus. :stupid:
sigh... looks like I have to ask my boss if I can work from home on such days...
hard that he will say ok....
What about you? What plans do you have? -

So far, I don't have any plans. for me on tuesdays she is having her piano lessons as well. my van drivers are not helpful also, when I ask them about the timing they told me to call the office. office said the driver will call to confirm as usual......I think R.S Trans. is sub contracting other vans.
