to be , a guinea pig is one such rodent which is usually dissected in experiments for the better good of the next generation. jk, but i think my p4 ds will be morbidly interested how that dissection could be carried out.HAPPYH:
Yesterday, my DD asked me what is guinea pig and why PM calls himself guinea pig (when he was talking about Changi airport yesterday). I tried to explain but I dont think she really understood.
Now I feel like telling her that she (her batch) is the guinea pig for the new Eng syllabus. Will she understand better?

Wonder when are they going to announce the details of the changes... How will it be changed...Why can't our PM says exactly when it is going to be implemented, then playing the guessing games.
Well if we are the first batch \" Bring it On\" We will face it.
But hate the guessing games.
I am going to be mentally prepared for it

My DD’s school did not finish tessellations yet. They just started. looks complicated and my DD takes forever. How do you all feel?
And she brings lots of homework too. No time to do revision or to cover weak areas. She goes to bed at 9 or 915 pm and wakes up at 615 am.
How are you guys managing? Kindly share. TIA -

My DD school has already done the tessellation. They are doing the revision. However just this week her science teacher is giving them a lot of home work. When the answers are wrong, the teacher do not have time explaining it to them especially on heat.
I just send an email to her science teacher to explain some of her concepts which she has marked wrong.
The SA2 is only 3 weeks away and still struggling with unfinished syllabus. -

True. My DD also has a little problem with heat. Science - they have finished the syllabus one month ago. I am sure, next week we will get at least three or four math and science revision papers.

My DD has a lot of school homework as well as tuition homework. She is already grumbling that there is so much to do.
Encouraging her, and sit with her and keeping her company. I am feeling the heat also. Next week is her English and Maths paper.
How are you parents coping with the SA2
