Yes, I called the school. Found out tt another parent staying in a condo nearby my area also complained abt the bus fare. She’s also charged $210. Seems the principal is looking into the matter but so far I haven’t had any outcome.

Yup, I have also told the school about my case and is still waiting for the out-come. -
May I know how u get your distance fr Sch? I called the school but they can’t advise exact distance. I googled but only managed to get the bus/car route distance. Not sure if that’s the correct one.

Hi \"Pretty Bloom\", you can use google map or go there map to calculate the distance for you. -

My girl went to p1 orientation. Didn't expect school bus fare to be $210. Wonder if this is the norm fare to kovan area? My son is paying $105 to St Andrew's. Any thoughts?
Just a FYI, my daughters' transport to CCPS cost $75. I stay near Windsor Hotel. My son is going St Andrews next year. My other son used to attend a pre school 4 km away and it cost about $200. So your $210 is probably about market rate.
Anyway, welcome to CCPS! -
Have tried to call and email them but the service provider doesn’t reply to any quires. If it is norm, there’s no harm for them just to do a explanation to the parent and clear thing out instead they are creating misleading conclusion made by us.
Hopefully, will hear something from the school since the school management is going to meet them up to talk about this. -
Its probably the way the bus operator works. Had the same jitters when no one called me. They say they will call 1 week before school starts. In one year, they called the night before school started. Maybe they cant get drivers and/or they need to leave it till everyone has registered, then the drivers can map out the route.

have to wait and see for our own now but based on my experience with the operator I will not give high hope on them. -
Hi Parents,
My daughter is in P2 CCPS this year. I received the payment card this month and was surprised that the fare has increased by 37.5% from $80 to $110. My house is 2km away from school. When I called up the bus operator who was the lady boss (Apxxx) told me rudely that the school was aware on the bus hike of 20%. When I asked for the memo, she couldn't provide me the information and dropped me a mail stating that it was the management decision to decide the bus hike. Next, she got the bus driver to convey message to me that if I am not happy with the bus hike, don't take the bus. I was actually furious with her unprofessional attitude and I wonder why CCPS has authorised such bus operator to ferry our kids. In fact, I doubt their integrity as well. Even when I told her that I may escalate to School Bus Association, she told me that it is useless to do so. What a arrogant lady! My hubby and I have discussed that we are going to terminate the school bus service by end of this month. We should not be the victims of unreasonable bus hike. I don't think school will take any action against steep bus hike otherwise the bus operator will not act so arrogant. :stompfeet: -
My 2 daughters are in CCPS P3 and P4. Bus fare went up from $75 to $95…sigh…
