Dear West Spring Primary School Authorities,

I find everything fantastic about the school. But one issue am facing, the school bus arrives at my house at 6.00 am in the morning as my house is at Yew Tee . My son wakes up at 5.00 am . I feel it is too early for a small boy. I request the school's intervention with the transport to resolve this issue.

AS the bus provider picks up all the students and goes for some other trips hence finishes the school pickup early.

Please help to resolve the issue. thanks. Deepa. 😄

      Dear Deepacn1980,

We’re very delighted to hear that you’re happy with our fantastic school. 🆒
Having started the school just 2 months ago, it’s very heartening to hear time and again such compliments from our supportive parents. In working with our esteemed parents, we’ll continue to provide the best holistic education for all our West Springers.

Please do contact me, Mdm Noor at 6314 4192 from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm to see how I may help you with your bus transport concern. :please:

        Dear WSPS

just received a letter issued on this Wed. to say that there will be student activity at East Coast.
May we know what the camp day is it? Go through the letter several times, but couldn’t find the actual date on it.

          Dear WSPS

Are they news from LTA regarding building new bus stop near the school?
          Dear Starkids,

The school has written in to the relevant authorities on this matter. However, it must be noted that such decisions require the coordination amongst a number of authorities, where due consideration must be exercised. Hence, it’ll take some time before we know the outcome. 😄

            Dear Tong2,

West Springers will get to experience a day camp (date has not been fixed yet) either within school or out of school. On this day, there'll be no formal lessons & West Springers will be engaged in a variety of engaging PLAY activities as they learn some important life skills out of the classroom context.

We've rostered 2 classes per term to experience PLAY thru sand for 3 sessions (only school in Singapore to have sand pits for this purpose). We started the programme this week & it was a delight to see pupils learning thru PLAY during their PAL lessons.

Do visit our school website to view the flickr photos. A new set of photos will be uploaded later today. The visit to East Coast in October will mark the culmination of this programme. 🕺 🕺 :rahrah: :rahrah: :imcool:

                    Dear Sharon1207,

:thankyou: for your interest in West Spring Primary. :imcool:

Like you, many other prospective parents have also been asking us this question. Essentially, we're not able to provide you with an affirmative answer at this point in time as the P1 registration 2015 exercise hasn't started yet.

In our first P1 registration exercise last year, we did have to go into balloting due to great interest in our school and its curriculum offered. We look forward to having you & your child join our West Spring family. 🕺 :rahrah: :rahrah: 🕺

                      Dear Prospective Parents,

We’ve been receiving queries on the Parent Volunteer (PV) scheme. The PV scheme will commence only in Jul 2014 for P1 Registration Exercise 2016 as West Spring Primary has just started operations in Jan 2014.

More details will be released much later on our school website with regards to the application process.
