My dd is in P3 this year.
Can anyone please tell me what books you use or are recommended for P3 Science? We are finding Science very tough and the textbooks don't seem to have much info. Please help!

Can anyone advise as to when do we start registering the child for the school student care and Transport? This is for new student going P1 next year.

Would also like to check as well whether the CCA bus at 4.30pm is for all days of the week or only for those days with CCA. From the school website, it seems like CCA is not for all days of the week.

Welcome to SMPS. The school will inform you of the orientation day, during which you’ll be given all the info you need to prepare for P1.

I believe the 4.30pm bus is daily because it doesn’t just pick up CCA girls, but also those who stay back for remedials or who return after field trips.

Thanks for the info. I am very excited that DD will be joining SMPS. We are staying rather far from the school and I am quite concern about the student care and school bus.

I heard that some of the student care have very limited seats and I wonder is that the situation for SMPS. Hopefully, DD can also get use to the long journey to and from school.

By the way, when will the orientation be held normally?

for me , my kids knows her facts , it just that she does not know how to apply to the questions. the answers to MCQ r so close that she often makes mistakes, so i just let her do more asscessment books and explain to her why is her answer wrong, from there she gets a better understanding.

430pm school bus will only operate daily when cca starts or when there are normal sch day. For example,.first wk.of every Jan & national day eve celebration where the sch finishes early, there will not be any 430pm sch bus. Quite inconvenient but no choice. …
