congrats sierre2! you are really brave to go for the balloting! esp when it is a 50-50 chance…

Congrats sierre2.
I guess your family and mine made that bold steps to believe a good heritage for our girls, and we were balloted in. My family stays in North. We are arranging for the bus services too. The transport provider SSTA will be setting up a booth in the school on the orientation day for the P1 students. Thereby, register your interest in their service then. After which, their operators will plan the routes and inform about the fares and timing for consideration.
I was informed that the bus for our route will be serving the areas Woodland, Admiralty and Sembawang. Cheers. -
Thanks for the list of parents for the new P1 RGPS girls.
I’m not sure how long the school bus journey will be from Hougang to school. Guess will have to wait till orientation day to register & check with the school bus operator. -
All the very best to all P6 pupils, taking Oral tomorrow and Friday.
School very quiet tomorrow, as P1 to P5 pupils stay at home. -

Attended my girl’s kindergarten open house today and glad to find out quite a few of her classmates are going to RGPS next year so she will see some familiar faces.
And then we started to talk about tuition… I’m only sending my girl to Berries for Chinese now and don’t intend to send her for enrichment until she’s in upper primary. One mama told me her older girl who is already in P1 goes to TLL for English and maths and has a private Chinese tutor at home… -

Speaking from a P6 parent, if i can turn back the clock I will do the same as what the mama has told u. What i can say is don't start tuition too late or else there will be a lot of catching up to do later. Well, the first 2 years P1/2 may be honeymoon for most but come later stage it will be like bullet train. All the best to the next year P1 and enjoy your 6yrs journey !!! :rahrah: :celebrate:Attended my girl's kindergarten open house today and glad to find out quite a few of her classmates are going to RGPS next year so she will see some familiar faces.
