Wars, despite the seemingly endless conflicts in the middle east, kills far fewer these days than in the past, especially when compared to the populations of the time. The Cambodian genocide of the 70s killed half of the population. The American Civil War killed 2% of the American population at that time. That's equivalent to 6,000,000 deaths today, which is inconceivable.

High level conflagrations like WW1 and WW2 will never likely ever happen again, Europe is a much more stable place these days than before. G'ments are getting far better at controlling infectious diseases. And improvements in transportation technologies are making travel and commuting safer than ever before.

It may not seem that way, but we have have had steady progress in peace, safety and health for the last few decades.

As what tutormum says - the prohecies are coming true.

Since Childhood I had Bible books given to me as presents from relatives who are Christians/Catholic.

I always treat them like story books.

But I am very interested to know which book writes about the prophecy
that are coming true.

I am also very curious Christians & Muslims in ancient times share the same bible ,why there is a change?

Is there any book I can read or video clips that can kill my curiousity? :thankyou:
