Just came back from PHS and they have a new Principal transferred from Fairfield Methodist Sec so hope this will bring up the standard of the school in years to come.


It is a mission school and i love it hahaha i am a kiasu parent myself

I am just wondering… if my girl did well in her past 2 years in another sec school, will she has any chances to appeal for a school transfer into Presbyterian.?

It is possible but I think she will have to undergo an entry exam . Not sure about the details but I know that most schools will require the child to undergo some type of academic exam if they want to enter the school from another school.

No harm trying but I heard that you might have to pay some money for the entry exam .

My gal is moving on to S2 next year. Good nurturing environment, with caring teachers.

Good balance of academic focus n character development.

They hv holiday assignment so that kids don't laze around and rot during the holiday.

As in all schools, u have a handful of playful kids, but the AMK church that is within the school hv youth pastor/workers who help to befriend and watch the youth.

In summary, a decent school that parent can entrust their kid in.

Thanks for the info. I am not so worried on the entry exam.... I am just thinking how to convince the school to grant my daughter an entry exam as they replied that we need to wait for the vacancy.
