KSP:
Haiyah, my son passed their entry test, spent like 6 terms there, and results in English in school didn't improve much, and by the following year, he dreaded going, so we stopped sending him.Yes, the screen is also good for us so that we don't waste our time and money.
.
Doesn't mean it works for all. So even with screening, their teaching may not even be effective. -

So, if most parents say their children were breastfed, will we see a sudden surge of mummies breastfeeding their babies? :?any GEPers' parents here care to share what kind of charateristics your child display in early childhood? also other informations like:

Maybe time for Breastfeeding Mothers' Support Group to conduct a research in this area, so that more mothers will be encouraged to breastfeed?
They will be :dancing: if more mummies switch to breastfeeding.

Can also come out with a survey for those parents with their child in GEP to fill up their child's character since new born. But need to give some reward like KS points. Or else very hard to get feedback. -

yap u may say so...But for borderline 'gifted' children..maybeeeee it helps......but these children who manage to get in to GEP eventually..emmm hopefully they can cope with the programme..
MOE has a program for borderline gifted kids, so they won't lose out if they are in the right school .......i think MOE website has the infoverykiasu2010:
But anyway, if your kids don't pass their entry test, I suppose u know what it mean....they also don;t want u to waste money

therefore, it means that if the kids pass their entry test, they are also smart enough and hence don't need to join their tuition
it is extremely easy teach the smart and motivated kids -

You mean the twinning prog? My son was in this, but the moment he opt out from taking HCL in p5, he was *out* of the prog. So, the provision is not perfect. He totally enjoyed his p4 year bc of the very interesting approach. Too bad it was short-lived.
