Do act fast if DD wish to take the RAD ballet examination in April 2016. Many schools have already started the coaching sessions and those stricter teachers may not allow your child to take part if she has not completed the full coaching term. Thanks PorkyPig n Sembgal!
I'll try Simei CC since its nearer... Hopefully there's a grade 3 or 4 class on Saturdays

My daughter’s ballet Tr have already given out forms to parents who intend to sign up their girl for 2016 April RAD exam.
If want, better act fast -

Are you open to ballet school? If yes, a tuition-mate's mummy strongly recommend this one below because:Hi,
Any good CC ballet class at the west to recommend ?
1. They have a scholarship programme for those who perform well.
2. Performance opportunities and roughly 1 or 2 overseas competitions to take part each year ( usually in HK or Shanghai)
3. Strict teachers ( but child may not like) with vast experience, for example, some were from Beijing 少年宫,Russian dance academy etc
4. Prescribed set of stretching exercises to do every night etc
5. Most of their students get distinction for RAD exams
But she warned that it is a very tough programme and the child may cry initially and parents have to be very supportive ( her dd is in the scholarship programme).

Hi, FantasyLandDreams,
Thanks for your reply and recommendation however my DD current school also has such programme and she is part of them. I understand how tough it is and therefore want to switch to a simpler environment. -
Hi , I’m intending to get hair gel/wax/spray for my girl who learns ballet . I’ve never bought it for her before . May I know which brands are recommended ? Thanks!

We use 'Follow Me' brand of super hard gel (strong hold). Serves us well last few years. Comes in a green bottle and can easily be bought from ABC shop. $1.90 per bottle. Hope it helps. -
hi,
do girls apply hair gel for every ballet practice, or only on exam day itself, or during performance ?
for my kid, she only apply hair gel on exam day.
(normal practice : no need gel)
