Hi parents of 2016 P1 kids, did anyone recall if we were told during Orientation whether we can hang around in the school after checking in our children at the assembly hall on the first and second mornings of school, and whether we will be able to see or observe our children during their recess on these two days? If we won't be allowed, then I am thinking of not applying for leave.
Im not sure what was told during Orientation the other day but during my first girl's first two days of sch (in 2014), shortly after the flag raising in the hall, my girl was escorted to her classroom.
Parents had some talk in the hall. After which, we were allowed to observe from far during recess time. I didnt hang around the class and tried to be \"invisible\" as I didnt want my girl to cry (though she's unlikely to). I left after recess.
On the second day, I was allowed to drop her off at the hall and we were not allowed to hang around in the school thereafter.
Im still applying for 2 days leave though. Hope this helps... -

What time is their recess? P1 has buddy system? Their recess is with P2 and p3? There is a side gate near the canteen at the field there… is that one of the dismissal gate? -

My elder P3 told me that the P1 will have buddy system not sure with which level but most probably P3 as this year the P3 shares same recess time as P1.
Not sure if that gate is opened now but up till this year there are only 2 gates of dismissal. Gate C is opposite the mosque, Gate B is near the security guards house.
