JPY is tagged to USD. So if USD goes up, JPY will go up too…
-
JPY is up because USD has weakened.
USD has weakened because FED is not expected to be hiking interest rates much. Consensus view is that max 1-2 hikes this year compared to previous expectation of 4 hikes. -
Hi, not sure if anyone asked this before. I have a youngest one at 7yrs old which is small build, apparently most hotels I checked said they consider 7yrs as adult and we need to book 2 rooms to accommodate 2A and 2C even if we are OK to share bed with the youngest.
Anyone experienced this before and I would like to ask how strict are they if we just want to proceed with a triple without declaring the 4th pax.
I also notice most of the hotels do not have connecting rooms, making more difficult for me to find a suitable hotel…sigh.
any advice ?
thanks lots. -

They are very strict on this. I had 1 student almost banned from going to Japan because of such issues.... Lucky i know the owner, so i called the owner and resolved the problem before the police came...Hi, not sure if anyone asked this before. Most hotels do provide extra beds at a low cost if they are very strict about it.
For Japan, you could also opt for AirBNB or homestays as long as you're comfortable. Then you can also live like the Japanese.junemum72:

Hi,
Anyone tried Shinjuku Washington Main Hotel? So far this is the only one that told me I can take triple for 2A and 2C.
Would like to know the location, and if its convenient/how far etc to lug our luggages from subway to Washington. We will come from Karuizawa to JR Tokyo station. (which line we should connect from JR Tokyo to Shinjuku Washington?
Also for Disneyland Tokyo, may I know if there is any special kids activities like dress up to be princess etc ? (sorry, 1st time going so very mountain tortoise)
Thanks for sharing.
