Thinking on the bright side, at least we get to know our kids' T-scores. :siam: :rotflmao:How time flies.
I remembered 2 yrs ago when my girl was in P6, I was actually hoping PSLE to be over asap ( During Feb time ).
It is not only our children that feel the stress to perform well, we parents are the ones too, hoping they do well to go to good schools.
Embrace ! Another 5 mths to go.... -

choy choy choy! touchwood!!!
Really? My greatest fear (by far) is that ds falls sick during PSLE period. :yikes:
Otherwise I believe he'll do well enough to be IP-bound. That's why my friend recommended this strategy of managing the stress level of the children by moving down a gear.
Btw is that any other formula to prevent illness during PSLE?
vitamin C, sufficient rest...best to stay at home or go to the park to breathe in some fresh air IF THERE IS NO HAZE. -

For me this time round I try to avoid eating out at least the day b4 exam or if need to..then McDonald (hopefully the food handling is better

)[/quote]Isn't McDonalds a little oily? Why don't you want to go out? I would be tempted to bring my son out for his fav food during exam week.
Last time my mum gave me Chicken Essence before PSLE. Do pple still do that? -
When son took his PSLE then, he ate mainly home cooked meals. Nothing deep fried or oily. He stayed at home before his written exams and straight home after the papers were over.

This week dd has 2 McDonald meals after the exam coz first time I went out to source for stuffs and caught in jam so the McD drive through was the most convenient as she would have been very hungry...2nd round coz I was 'tied up' with dd2 so no cooking. Any other food for 'emergency'?
Usually I try to have more soupy meals...and this time I added some sparks ie baked 2 times of cookies which should never be done during exam time coz very heaty and luckily honey came to rescue..maybe the manuka or other better honey will be good as standby. I used the little left raw honey. So far so good.
Stay at home more to rest and not catch up too much virus from outside. Forgot to add..I let dd eats 2 eggs a day lately coz she doesn't like fish..just try whatever la..yesterday I heard from the radio, the Korean students go for injection to boast the 'brain'. I wonder if they will bring the product to Spore in time for our PSLE  -
I thought of chicken essence too…just in case dd says she is tired. But ok leh…never say tired so didn’t take. Btw, for compo… frankly speaking we couldn’t do much…just like any other days and revise a bit here and there, rest and play.

Chicken essence makes the brain more alert. I gave son one bottle to bring to school for his Math paper 2. He knocked out right after he came home. The weather has been so humid of late...don't know if the chicken essence would be too 补 for him.
Countdown begins :nailbite: still thinking how to squeeze in all the topics from P3-6. June burnt for sure. -

Brands Essence works for both my kids. I just stocked up recently as Esso was having a 35% discount off
