Does anyone know the dismissal time for Sec 1?

I m afraid it will clash with my younger girl dismissal time, then not able to pick my son fm SJI as I live in woodlands
Should be around 1 plus depending on the day

If school still in Bishan can easily take MRT from Bishan to Woodlands (30 mins) or if the school is back in Malcolm Road, can consider taking MRT from Stevens to Woodlands (45 mins) or bus 960 (1 hr)

Based on work progress, they should be moving back to Malcom Road by end of Jan 2017.

Walk should be about the same from Bishan holding site to Bishan MRT or Malcolm Road to Stevens MRT around 500m.

As Stevens MRT (Thomson-East Coast Line) is still under construction, there is presently only 1 entrance to Stevens MRT (Downtown Line) via Bukit Timah Road. However when the new underpass is ready, there would be an entrance nearer SCGS/Malcolm Park side.

The SCGS exit will be ready in 2019.

Last weekend I just drove to Malcom rd.
Need to cross 2 traffic light n a canal to reach stevens mrt entrance.
                Actually quite a distance.

[color=#004080]Wonder is that buses from Stevens MRT to SJI (Malcom Road)? Guess the students would be better take from Toa Payoh in reach the bus stop just outside SJI?

from Steven MRT (Downtown line) to 38 Malcolm road (SJI) :

4 buses take you there -

If from The Red North-South Line (North) can consider alight at Toa Payoh and take (105,153 -> 3 bus stops) to reach bus stop outside SJI as mentioned above instead of changing to Downtown line at Newton.

If from the Yellow Circle Line (West) can consider to alight at Botanic Gardens instead of changing to Downtown line there and take (48, 151, 153, 154, 156, 186 -> 3 bus stops)) and alight at Raffles Town Club.

If already on Downtown Line, outside Stevens MRT there is a bus stop where they can take 700, 960 and alight one bus stop later at Raffles Town Club. But I think walking is much faster.

The students would find out for themselves after a while which is the best route.
