The PSG event was well attended. I would estimate about 200 parents? Did a lot of networking and exchanging numbers with parents. Also did a brainstorming session on future PSG activities. Those who missed out will still be receiving the presentation through your email.

Receive call and email that [year 1] son's semester 1 results not good. Teacher, year head and vice principal would like to meet me up during parent teacher meeting. Made me really worried. Sounds serious, do not know what to expect for the meeting

So fast ?
The PTM is similar to those we used to attend in primary school. The subject techer will go through the child's performance and areas of improvements. Plus how we can help the child to improve.
Recommended to bring the child along. The teacher will ask prompting questions to the child, encouraging the child to take ownership to improve -
Yep, thats really quick follow up from the school given results out only past 2 days. The PTM booking slot (compylsory meet) only starts next Mon right?

Hi! Anyone has any idea what is the main difference between Math Olympiad elective taught by NUSH teachers and external vendor (the one with a "v" next to the module code). I know that those who did better are offered the module taught by school staff but is there any other major difference other than that?

Hi, today is registration for enrichment modules for Yr 1. Iām quite confused. Any difference between elective and enrichment modules? In sem 1, my DS took Japanese as 3rd Lang and din do well. It seems his score pulled down his CAP. My concern is, is our deduction correction?
Second, my son is not interested in the current enrichment modules offered. I read that these are optional but I do see that they come with modular credits. Is minimum credits required to promote to Yr 2.
Third, DS is keen is Math Olympiad but in Sem 1, he chose Jap and decided not to take Math Olympiad to manage his workload. Now that he is going to drop Jap, he would like to take Math Olympiad. My question is, is MO open to all Yr 1 kids or they must sign up for the MO elective?
The modular system is new and confusing to me.
TIA!
