Anyone bought those COACH bags online?
Any experince to share??? -
fussyMummy:
Do you have any website in mind?Hi,
Anyone bought those COACH bags online?
Any experince to share???
I usually shop for coach at macys when I am in US. However, we cannot buy online from Macys even with concierge service.
Does Coach has their own online shopping? -
Hi,
I saw some COACH bags sell online at GMarket..
Just wonder is it real ? :? -

Interesting thread!
Am so slow, only chanced upon it today, and like many other cool KS forum threads, read from start to finish...
can be renamed as \"luxury goods we indulge/invest in\".
i think there are a few ways of looking at this:
1. buy quality - good things that last are expensive
though my parents were working class, my dad would buy me caran dache crayons in pri sch, lafuma bag (opposed to umbro), cos he believes in quality. i don't think it made me too brand conscious cos of the other aspects of upbringing. i think how materialistic/brand conscious our kids become ultimately boil down to the overall values that we live out and impart.
2. is it just paying for marketing - sometimes i wonder whether such 'good quality\\ materials, if not stamped with the brand, will actually cost only a fraction of the price? like the same leather, same raw materials from source plus the manufacturing, surely doesn't cost so much? i think a lot of the money paid might be for the glossy magazine ads with the sulky models.
I'm a bit strange - some things i buy a bit more expensive (watch and jewellery), some things I just buy cheap (bags and shoes). I guess everyone has their own poison.
oh yes, maybe there is a third point:
3. buy branded as investment
- a clerk regularly buys LV that costs much more than her monthly pay cos she says she can 'make' from it.
- patek phillipe watches are (marketed) as investments for the next generation. heard that if we buy when kid is born, makes for a nice gift when he's 21. can sell for pretty profit. better than stocks? but when we went to 'test waters' at a shop retailing it, the guy was like 'huh? investment?' - totally clueless and lost a potential sale.
some times I feel that some brands have been 'tainted' cos too many aunties are carrying it. Or too many fakes. LV, Gucci, even Coach. High aunty factor. But overall i agree that it's mainly in how you carry it off.
With some panache, one can make an aunty Coach bag look good (the way it's supposed to be carried for the age group it was meant for) - it's the overall é å I guess! Or make a cheapo no-brand but still nice bag look a million dollars. And perhaps it's also the inside that matters. A happy kind heart can enhance one's outside appearance and overall image. My long term preference is to look like a kindly old aunty that children willingly come and hug rather than a snazzy but 'all-edges' polished old dame. -
BigDevil:
Can buy through companies like borderlinx or Amex borderlessbuys???MMM:

If not, borderlinx also has concierge services that helps you to place orders with companies that don't accept International cards,etc... It is free for US$50 & above. But I've problems getting them to order from Macys and they asked me to try Amazon instead.
