your son's group #15, also (2 boys, 2 girls) ?
My Son also attended today session at 11am
He is in group 15 -
Nope . All boys .
Yours ?
The project he told me is to separate the glass cup in the shortest time etc -
That means the 2 project were different. Last Saturday Performance Task project was to design a ping pong ball
For your sonβs team : all 4 boys, come from different primary school ?
Anyone else project, different from ours, since there are 500 students, from 4 batches, attended Round 2 test ? -
My boy went for the written papers on the 2nd day, and the selection camp 3rd August 11-1.30pm.
We saw most of his schoolmates today who went for the 2nd day written test as well, so I assume the selection camp dates was based which batch they were from.
He was in grp 21, all boys from different schools, separate glass cup/ Moscow circus experiment. He rated first round 4/5 since they managed to do that, 2nd round 2/5 (trickier as it was on a stair-like surface), 3rd round was sort of an ethics qn, ABC agreed beforehand that peer appraisal all shld have the same grade, but C didn't turn up for any project work at all due to CCA and outside commitment, will they honour their agreement or give a \"suitable grade\"? The boys jointly debated with the 2 teachers that a suitable grade is more ...erm.... suitable
(No right or wrong answer but just seeing how they present their views, I guess)
His classmate in grp 18 on the other hand was asked to give an actual percentage of C's effort, they were also shown a project on laptop and asked to talk abt it. This grp was asked if there is other thing they can improve about the Open House, what will it be?
Gp 21 was not shown any laptop project, but it seems they chatted a longer time (esp when it came to the you-tube vidoes they watch, even recommending which ones to follow, & apparently they all shares the same likes  ) They went asked why they want to go to SST etc. He told me that he enjoyed the session and he made 3 new friends. Before gg to the camp, I told him that SST actually had camps the previous week, so it is a possibility that they may had selected all 200 students already, so just go in and have fun.
After coming out, we talked about the questions then I asked him if he is the teacher and have to choose one student, who will be selected? He took a moment to think and then replied that it is very hard to choose as the synergy of the group was great and everyone was having a great time, he hopes everyone will get in. No sabo king in his group
Told him selected or not, it's ok, time to buckle down for PSLE, went for lunch and then home.
Good luck to all! -
From the DSA2019 page, a few schools have alr given out COs. Anyone remembers if SST indeed gave out COs only towards the last week of the deadline? Some schools have this tea party for COs. Does SST have also?

My colleague applied for SIE last year. Her son T score is 247. He was offered but he turned down in the end to go VS.
Hi can anyone tell me what T-scores are considered for the SST SIE from PSLE. I did not get in through DSA. If someone can provide me with the information, it would be much appreciated. Thanks[/quote]
