Already, many people lost job, because many business closed shops. This affect their families. Some students' Tertiary education at Polytechnic affected

      You are right!
cannot have too many CB, every 3 to 4 months

one CB, after another CB ...
un-thinkable, too restrictive, stressful ... people rebel

see how people cannot take the stress of CB ?

Some people got bored, virus create stress on people, some cannot take CB too long, end up \"short circuit\". Stay home too long can make people go crazy

amongst all these, these ARE the harsh, ugly REALITIES of life ...
the saddest of all these, is when tragedy happen inside families that led to child abuse,
family domestic violence on the rise

child abuse is very, very serious

      https://consultqd.clevelandclinic.org/vigilance-needed-during-covid-19-as-child-abuse-concerns-rise/

      https://www.pbs.org/newshour/health/why-child-welfare-experts-fear-a-spike-of-abuse-during-covid-19

nobody want to see children being abused in family, because of the stress built up when people stay at home too long, go crazy, cannot go out, cannot visit close family bonding relatives, cannot meet close friends, etc etc
so, how can people suggest have CB, one after another ?

      because

think of the harsh REALITIES of life !

The Silver Generation Office (SGO) is reaching out to seniors in need to support them during COVID-19. To help these seniors stay home and stay safe, SGO is calling for volunteers who can check in on their well-being regularly, help them to buy food/groceries, etc.

Last night we saw the same group of guys, came together, hiding in a remote corner on the open space to drink beer and make merry. At least 10 of them. This time round, we use OneService app to inform the authorities. Police came 2hrs later (social distancing matters) and the whole group ran for their lives when they saw the police.

Let’s do our part for the CB. If the CB gets extended for another month, I think it is not good for many people’s mental health including mine, :frustrated:

If the CB extend for another one more month into May, after May is June one month break, school holiday. By then, after June, school can open in July Term 3

Looking at the way so many irresponsible people are disregarding the CB rules, I’m mentally prepared that schools will not reopen at all for the rest of Term 2. At least June hols we don’t need to login for HBL hopefully. Give us some proper holidays.

DH go down da bao still sees the old uncles not wearing masks despite new rules must wear masks outdoors, sitting around the coffee shop & void decks, talking to each other but sit far far apart, shout to each other their daily gossip.

SINGAPORE — The Learning Vision@Work pre-school centre at National University Hospital Medical Centre will be closed for a week from Thursday (16 April), after one of its teaching staff tested positive for COVID-19.

In a media release on Wednesday, the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) said that the staff member was last in the centre at Lower Kent Ridge Road on 9 April. The closure of the premises thus covers the 14-day incubation period of the coronavirus.

All affected staff and children at the centre will be placed on a Leave of Absence during the closure period. Contact tracing is ongoing.

The centre said that it will also conduct a thorough cleaning and disinfection of the pre-school premises, and is closely monitoring its staff and parents on the health of their children.

Barring any new developments, the Centre will resume limited service provision on 24 April, to serve parents who are working in essential services and are unable to extend their alternative care arrangements beyond the closure period.
