Thanks for your all replies. Looks like it’s either chij tpy or nan chiau/kong hwa. I’m not so concern about diversity. More worried about the chance of getting in... as i might end up moving and not getting into the school of my choice. I like nanchiau, but seems like sengkang is full of kids fighting for a spot in phase 2b hence thought of kong hwa/chij. But the houses at those areas are more expensive and i have a low risk appetite.

How about chij tpy vs plmgs assuming i apply for pv for plmgs and managed to get in? Which school is better in terms of holistic education?

As per zac's mum comment, CHIJ TP is the best option. No need to waste time think here, think there.

      Guaranteed spot for < 1km.
Affordable and varied housing - HDB or private - old and new within 1km (note to zac's mum: got more than 2 old condos lah. Besides Oleander Towers and Trellis Towers, still got Sky@Eleven and Trevista. If you want even more choices, can consider Balestier or even Whitley road area for landed property).

      Plus:
RGS is nearby. Otherwise, affiliated to CHIJ TP.
Few more years down the road, RJC also nearby. Otherwise, CJC.
If poly is more her cup of tea, NYP, NP and SP are accessible via direct public transport from the area.

Thanks! Hahaha i really wasted alot of time thinking here and there. Was quite set on IJ Tpy but not sure why this year’s stat shows 2b is quite competitive. Waiting for moe to update if balloting is required under 1km.

Hi all, would appreciate comments/advice on what to apply in phase 2C. Options are:

1-2 km: Alexandra, Zhang De, Queenstown
1km: Blangah Rise, Gan Eng Seng
            Thanks!

              For Odd consideration:

Alexandra balloting will be within 1km, should avoid

Zhang de and Queenstown looks fine for 1-2km this year.

Blangah rise and Gan eng Seng sure in for you until 2Cs.

Queenstown’s take up was pretty low until recent years in 2018, since then have been balloting for more than 2km people. (Perhaps due to more estate within the area)

Zhangde traditionally require balloting for 1-2km or less than 1km until APS came along.

Currently i am staying in sengkang and would like to shift to within 1 km to try for 2A2 at Ats, if unsuccessful will want to try for st nicks or ats within 1km range. If also unsuccessful will getting into marymount convent a safe choice for more than 2km away at 2cs?
