I tried to look at how they do it at the 2nd time..but the moment needle in will rurn away. Coz it is kinda transparent I can't see much also. I can see needle go into bottle then push air out from needle I think. Spore should be much better.

And seniors have a lot of time to let their imagination run wild. For some, the many incidents of severe adverse reactions overseas is fixed in their mind. -

A lot of people, seniors or otherwise, don't pay attention to new info. They just remember what they heard first, and stick to it. I just spoke to a colleague (herself >60), who told me that her even more senior mother couldn't be vaccinated because of allergies to some food and paracetamol (just rashes), and her mother was really bored and restless because she dared not go out much. She was unaware that the advice has changed (despite the fact that this has been discussed many times at office online chit-chats) . I've asked her to to call her mother's doctor just to be sure and, if he gives the OK, told her that she can bring her mother to a centre to get the jab without an appointment.

Others may have already seen this but looks like the MOH releases from 20 July, 21 July, and 22 July have added a breakdown on cases and vaccination status by age group. See Figure 3 - this is a bit more granular than the old Figure 8 (now Figure 10).

It’s simply a reflection of the general community cases. One adult family member catches it, then spreads it to the kids.I'll hate to be an alarmist but it seems more schools are affected this time round..

Covid-19: CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh) moves to home-based learning after student tests positive
This has been happening ever since the whole Covid thingy started. In several schools all over SG too.[/quote] -
SINGAPORE — Despite the emergence of a Covid-19 cluster among KTV lounges, three former nightlife establishments that converted to food-and-beverage (F&B) operations have had their food licences revoked, following enforcement checks over the past week by the authorities.
The establishments are The Charm at 150 South Bridge Road, Icon II at 35 Selegie Road and Frederico’s Paddles Too Pub and Cafeteria located at 11 East Coast Road.
They were found to have breached safety regulations to curb the spread of Covid-19 and must stop operations with immediate effect, the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) said in a statement on Friday (July 23).
These nightspots were caught for allowing the playing of games within their premises, failing to minimise interaction between staff members and customers, as well as providing hostessing services.
Of the three venues, two were caught breaking the rules before the mandatory two-week suspension of operations imposed on nightspots from July 16 to 30.
One of them — Federico’s Paddles Too Pub and Cafeteria — broke the rules after the suspension was put in place.

Well, comparing with Figure 14, effectiveness against mild or asymptomatic infection of Delta looks pretty much like zero for the 61-70 and above 70 groups. The numbers for the other age groups are not comparable. :siam:

So don't act like heroes just because vaccinated. Sure kena!
On the other hand, it is about 100% against serious infection.
Question: Does getting infected with Delta after full vaccination act like a booster shot?
