We have 1k if never used b4 right? Bz start up course interesting and helpful?
I had $1.5K before I spent some. It came in a 2-3 tranches, as far as I recall.

I think what is interesting or helpful really depends on the individual and what you intend to do. I took some computer courses - Drupal 7 & Excel - as I wanted to know more for work purposes, and have purchased a Gimp counrse but never got round to starting. For interest, I took a couple of publishing courses. All of these were on Udemy - own time, own target. Haven't had the time to do any more recently as my workload increased in July last year and I haven't had much spare time.

Any self development or parenting or teaching course will be awesome. Photography will be great too.

I wouldn't mind a computer course as well to keep up with the times and the kids. Which computer course will be good to know in secondary school - python?
Python would be useful if the kid has an interest in it. Not a difficult language to learn, and infinitely useful from sec school to JC or Poly and University.

Perhaps the parents can learn (using skills future credits) and then teach their children. Python could also be useful for some adults …

I’m running Python to manage / monitor / analyze the performance of my fantasy football team, so it’s probably very useful for me 😂

Well, I hope it's not difficult! My older girl is starting an introductory Python course (not through SkillsFuture - she's not old enough) tomorrow. Just 16 hrs in total, so no idea how much she will learn, and whether she can cope!

Run and manage by an educator, it's free and should cover around the same depth as your daughter's course. I suspect her course will introduce at least the NumPy library and she will be able to do some statistical analysis (future homework in stats be done in 15 mins 😂 ). You can play around with Python on https://colab.research.google.com.
