              Today’s Update (3 September)

Last week started out quietly but got busy towards the end with 4 schools (RVHS, CCGS, CGS & SST) announcing results on Friday 😊 While it’s school holidays next week, it’s likely to get busy with key schools like RI & NYGH (and more) set to announce their DSA results. Good luck to all who are waiting!

Congrats to all who received COs & WLs. And, GOOD LUCK to all students and parents regardless!

Same here, I shared it with my son when I reached home in the evening. Personally, I don’t think it is correct to withhold information to him. the outcome/letter is actually addressed to him. I am only acting on his behalf.

Also, I don’t think it is correct to just presume that son will be complacent or will get distracted after the knowing the positive outcome.

I shared the bad news to my DD, asking her to read the email on her own. Want her to confrant all these and take some time to settle her feelings during this school hols time so that she can go back on track for her revision though not giving up hope on other schools results. Congrats again to all parents/ children with successful CO/WL and best wishes to all in PSLE. Final lap already. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

I told him immediately after I saw the email. Even if I don’t tell him, he will ask for sure. Among the boys, they will discuss. So not possible to hide. Whether it is happy or sad news, I would inform him as soon as I receive it.

But the few days after that, I told him that he can’t be complacent just because he got the CO. It’s 6 years of effort, and also trs effort.. cannot all go to waste in the last month. So effort must still be there. Plus, there’s always the ESIS to aim for. :imcool:

                        Congrats!

May I check if anyone knows for the sharing session at the sec schools, do the kids wear school uniform?
Yes, he/she needs to be in school uniform on the sharing session day.
