but what if its my third choice?thebigapple:
Then what if I go for Cedar? With 255, do I have to take the O Levels?
Yes, you stand a very good chance if you put Cedar as your first choice, but you don't qualify for Cedar's IP yet. You can always apply for the Cedar-Victoria IP route when you are in Sec 2, given your PSLE good results. -

I would very much like to go to RVH, but its too far, as I live near Serangoon
If distance is a problem, then I would suggest that you put Cedar as your first choice (your chance of getting into Cedar is very high given your PSLE score). My friend's daughter is in Cedar and she's very happy and doing very well there.
Other suggestions to fill up the rest of the choices would be Zhonghua, Anderson, Xinmin, Nan Chiau. Not necessarily to be in that order. -

Sincerely share your happiness and congratulations! Great! My son got 195 points. He got B C B. He is exempted from mother tongue. It may not be a very good mark for some of you but I am extremely proud of him. He got a chance to chose NA or Exp. Why am I proud of him? Because he has a learning difficulty and still managed to do this well. I know the amount of anixiety he was under before the exams. But he still made me proud. I am sure he will be model to other children with learning difficulties. We have decided to opt for NA in a school with good special needs support. All the best all 2010 students you have done your best.

Rosé is a perfect wine in Singapore because it can be served cold. Also wish to share. Will come with a Mediterranean dish: Italian ham + melon.

You won't know for sure until all the posting is done. You can use last year's COP as a gauge. I expect the COP for HCI and RI to drop a couple of points.Hi,
May I know what is the COP for HCI and RI this year ?
Thanks a million! -

but what if its my third choice?[/quote]Don't mean to be a wet blanket, but it is a bit difficult with 255 to get into DHS and NJC, but you can try though or even appeal after that, but that is another story altogether. So what I am trying to say is that you are taking a risk by putting DHS and NJC as your first and second choice and eventually, you may or may not get into Cedar, since you are likely to loose out to someone who put Cedar as her first choice.25hourmaid:

My advice is to put Cedar as your first choice, since you are almost guaranteed a place there and then see how things go on Posting Day and make an appeal for DHS or NJC, depending on the COP then. Just my two cents worth as that is what I would do if you were my daughter. But bear in mind that the appeal procedure can be very stressful and tedious. -
Anyone know the score for GMS (P) and YCK Pri
