      24hr-mum:
      hi buds

how did u manage to still hv lara croft boobs 'bursting with milk' when ur child alrdy 20 mths n i supp by then bb already eating solids n drinkg less milk?
She doesn't drink less... that's the thing.

She drinks the same even though already on solids... lotsa solids.
Her milk is taken slightly after her meals.
      24hr-mum:
      u pumped 3hrly at wk?
Yes, i try to do it as timely as 3 hourly... as much as possible. *pant*
Or else, my boobs wud be damn engorged! It is very painful! 😢
And rock hard! If i am late expressing by the time the cycle comes
in, my breast pads would be overloaded and my top would start
showing leak stains... when it leaked, it hurt!

It is convenient for me as i had my own office. Only the sounds are a bit distracting.
I was using the Medela electric. 😄 It's the best invention a bf-ing mommy can have. 😉
Expensive... but worth every penny. 😉
      24hr-mum:
i salute mums who r so disciplined, and able to get 6 mths of supply of frozen breastmk.
I was just one of the many who just had too much. 😛
It's like a running tap! :faint:
      24hr-mum:
u stored using what? i didnt like the hassle of transfering the milk from bags to bottles, so i bought more bottles to store but takes up space
I used bottles given & sterilized by the hospital. I had additional freezer space as well. 😄

I had to ask a friend how she made hers stop eventually as i found it a hassle to still
express when DD1 no longer wants to drink it directly... even nights she'd just ask for
bottle. So, i concentrated on trying to get it to dry up... boy... it wasn't an easy feat... :faint:

So that i could then concentrate the nights for the daddy. 😉

It was good to say bye-bye to jet sprays during game nights..

        buds:

        :celebrate: Here Here! :celebrate:

        Save money ya know! 😉

of course save money, save time, save inconvenience. very soon your turn again 😉 jia you!

        buds:
Thankfully it didn't dry up since you already made the decision to stay home. :hugs:

As for the freedom, that's why the myth that breastfeeding moms can't
get pregnant is untrue. :politebleah: A close friend of mine conceived
her #2 and #3 baby on the 4th month.. :faint:

I joked with her that she's too solid for her husband to resist.
After confinement period over nia... ATTACK!!!

        She just !

        :rotflmao:
        u really make me :rotflmao:

            LKVM:
Yes its surely a myth but ur friend surely ummmm 😐 😉

Yes, LKVM. I  at her and she in turn  at me. :rotflmao:

So, while she breastfed one till beyond two years... another was
suckling at her breast. :faint: I see her oso very siong. :snuggles:

That's why my mom says this time, i must barricade properly...
especially since this time i didn't put on too much weight...
More dangerous for me. She says dowan anymore
oredi lah.. time to take care of yourself.

            Aawww mumsie... :snuggles:

Guess what she's trying to tell hubs is \"hands off!\" :nunchuk:

            :rotflmao:

The \"husbands\" like to use this myth to get the wife in action sooner...

Eg.. \"Haiyah dear, didn't you know breastfeeding mothers cannot get
pregnant one... you arh...\" That's what happened to my friend
              i guess. Under trance. :rotflmao:

There was a letter in the forum pages on Thurs 16 Dec about a company which has banned its employees from expressing milk at work, even though it is done in the toilet during the employee’s ‘personal time’, i.e. before work and during lunchtime.

It made my blood boil. :x

First, it’s crazy for a mom to have to use the toilet to prepare her baby’s food; second, she wasn’t even expressing on company time! I don’t understand it! I may be asking too much for companies to provide lactation facilities for staff, but surely it isn’t too much to expect the company not to butt in on whatever I wish to do in my lunch hour or just before I start work?! I really feel for this mom and wish I could help her somehow…

Has anyone faced similar situations at the workplace? I’ve never had this problem, and it pains me to see how some employers are so ignorant. Would love to hear your stories, of supportive and unsupportive workplaces. For those who faced difficult situations, how did you overcome them?

For workplace in my experience, not so much employers but ignorant

singles who were either not married yet or those who do not have any
children and a few who actually cannot have children...
they give the red eye. :x

No matter if they were in children related industry & graduates at that too!

Even if it's not done during company time. Sigh. 😞 Can you believe these ppl..
