Hello All,
Just like to share the few Assessment Books I bought recently:-
1) Science Process Skills by teachers@Work - this is strongly recommended by many parents in the other thread under \"Science Assessment Book\" and also spoke with my DD1's teacher, she also using that for the class revision :celebrate: The questions are quite challenging.
2) Master Cloze by Geetha Menon - A very detailed and explantory book to help kids with various types of cloze passage. I like it as the author has explanation why such and such answer is being used
3) The other 2 Chinese Books - are told by a mutual friend whose kid's school teacher has recommended to use as a supplement to further enchance the kid's Comprehension skill & čÆčÆ.
Hope to hear from other parents' sharing too :thankyou: -
Thank you for sharing. I had the 3 books that you have mentioned for upper primary excpet the é å„.

mine, she will go straight to the story book section to see the picture books like animals , birds or love to wander in the stationary section.
I like these study helpers. but unfortunately difficult to find them. -

...so she has to \"self-discipline\" to do more comprehension practices. As for that Compo guide, she read it as a story book but she makes it a point to use the highlighter to underline those new words and go to the dictionary to check.

You can have a look at this one as well. called \"active reading\" by Terry Bell or \"reading smart\" by Rosalind fergusson. Both got texts to read, vobulary section which are from the text they define the key words. Exercises to the text consists MCQs, pre-reading Qs, comprehension. -
