Hi nansk and tinkerbell, many thanks for your replies! You have been a great help to us. We can know what to expect and prepare for our gals! Have a great weekend!
-
BTW, what are the CCAs that Kellock is strong in?
-
I think their strengths are netball and gymnastics. I saw a lot of trophies outside the office when I was waiting for my turn to register.
My gal saw the rhythmic Gymnasium performance at the open house and wants to join that for cca. -

Kellock oso post it on their web tat they r strong in netball and gymnastics. However, if i am not wrong, they oso states tat the student will be bonded in their niche CCA for a certain no. of yrs if they r chosen. -
Aiyoh, I am do not like the idea of my dd wanting to join gymnastics. Fortunately, she has no talent in this field and she was not comfortable when walking on the balancing beam on the day of the open house.

Haha... maybe it's mummy and daughter's telepathy!!
I am easy if my gal wans to join but the tot of having to stick to the same CCA for her primary sch life does seems daunting to me coz kids normally have the urge to change their mind now and then. -
Someone advised me to NOT let the kids join CCAs in primary school and to concentrate 100% on their studies. Is this a sound advice?

But Kellock states tat each student MUST have a CCA from P3 onwards.
If i have an option, i would rather not to let her join any CCA coz i was so drain out by CCA during my pri sch days. -
Hmmm. Will have to work around that. This morning, my dd told me that she wanted to play the trumpet and I almost fainted!
-
haha… i was in the band during my pri sch days and played coronet (smaller version of a trumpet). Tough i muz say to join band…
