      yee, so eerie & scary!

      a) can't imagine being the neighbour living beside this haunted house. past midnight hearing noises like someone crying in the garden, or chit chatting! or the swing in the garden swinging on its own, without wind.

      b) they said house painted red is to ward off evil.

indeed, scared of flickering dim lights flickering on /off on coridoor.

each time you open the main gate front door - see a blood red wall facing you. A constant reminder that something not right with the house, how to live in peace ....
indeed scary.....couldn't stay for long, left the hse within minutes.
(in fact, din even wanna to enter the hse the moment the agent open the hse)

oh yes, there was a statue placed juz behind the door, got a deep fright when the door was opened....

i, being kaypoh, went to ask the housing agent, \" why was the wall painted red huh?\"
(knowing that he would not tell me the truth....)
      guess what his reply was.....
      \" the owner likes red mah.......\" bluff who ??? 😉 😂

were his hands very cold - when he shook hands with you ?

actually i think the owner of this errie house puts the statue there, is for the purpose of guarding the house - to prevent evil spirits from entering main door. Acts like a security guard or Goddes / Heavenly King (Guang Gong) from next world … acting as a guard at the front door, baring naughty wandering spirit from entering.

furthermore, if put a statue there very tall guarding front entrance, it’s frightening. Imagine you wake up at night want to pee … Then as you look out to the front door without switching on any light, this tall statue resembles ‘someone’ or tall ghost looking at you … yee, scary!

the painted red color wall confirms that … the color blood red is to ward off evil.

and i find the other wall frightening too … why use palm shape in red? could have used other shape. but of all shapes, choose palm shape …

but if a person dies wearing red from head to toe, it takes on another meaning … purpose is usually to waken up the spirit after death, to come back for revenge … to trace down the murderer. Normally when a person dies wearing red dress, red shoes, red handbag, red shoe lace, red ribbon, it’s very powerful… it also indicates that the person had suffered and died a terrible, wrongful, painful death. So the family wants her to hunt down whoever is the killer … yes, indeed very errie …

I remembered when I was in P1 or P2, my primary school tuckshop over-looked to a HDB block (those with ground floor empty). One day, I looked out of the window and saw 2 red something lying on the grass patch at the bottom of the block. Later on, I heard that there has been a suicide, a woman wore all red jumped and also dressed her child in red.

So sad! My primary school has been demolished and that block of flat also knocked down and the whole area redeveloped and re-built into new HDB flats. But each time I pass by I will remember this....

phtthp, how come you know so much about such stuff?
