2 weeks back, I received a SMS informing me that my \"Mobile has won 750,000 pounds in iPhone Mobile Draw 2011\" and yesterday another sms informing me that my \"Mobile has won 750,000 pounds in Nokia Mobile Draw 2011\" ! :boogie:

1.5 mil pounds !! :rahrah: And I don't even own a nokia nor iphone !

:yikes: thats serious... I hope you got it resolved...

as per card agreement, the card company dealt with it after I reported it and my credit line was promptly restored, plus a new card number. phew ! that is why I still think places like China (because they have more cheats??) have a safer card system -- you get a message immediately your card is charged; plus you need to enter a PIN for each transaction

tried cancelling Amex to no success. they sent new card if you cut it in half and return it


if you call them to cancel it, they will sweet talk you and offer you goodies to keep the card

the only way is just keep the card at home but have to monitor for frauds … sigh
