      Breadandmuffins:
Does anyone know if the scooba and roomba leave scratches on marble and parquet flooring?

So far I didn't notice anything visible after about 6 months of use. I have marble and paraquet as well. They are really handy to have around. :rahrah: A friend just bought one too.

It is my maids who were far more destructive towards my floor leaving behind deep scratches and stains! :stompfeet:

In case anyone looking for irons, I just got a Rowenta Steamium iron and it’s very good. Steam on demand and dry iron in one.

Then your place is like mine.....dust everywhere! You'll be shocked to see what dust and hair the Rhoomba finds even if you vaccum everyday. My Scooba and Rhoomba really made life a lot easier for me since I still got 2 kids to run after. 🕺

              Hi fifiyeo

Where does the dirt go? I read somewhere that it is "bagless"? I intend to go down to the showroom at upper cross street to see demo. Is that the cheapest place in Singapore to buy these machines? I will hv to vacuum every day but mop alternate days using the machines, then get a part time maid come once a week to do other chores such as changing bedsheets, ironing , clean kitchens and toilets. I hv 4 children to run after…

try ironing the inside. if not, adjust the temperature (depending on the material) and put a thin piece of cloth over it and iron.

it could be the iron is dirty thus leaving black mark on the clothes. so got to clean the iron. also make sure the maid doesnt iron on the colour cartoons of the tees (especially the rubberised/plastic letters or cartoons), it comes off easily and could stain the iron.

THe dirt goes into a small bin which you can easily slide out and empty out the dirt. If your place is dusty, you'll probably need to empty it once in 2 days. But it's really easy to do, takes only 1-2 mins depending on how far is your trash bin. :boogie:

For Scooba, just pour out the dirty and unused water and give it a rinse. There are 3 other parts to remove which will require a rinse as well. Altogether it's a very easy 5-10 min job at the most. :boogie:

I got mine from parallel importers. If you are comfortable with that, they are about 40-50% cheaper!!! :scared:
