Hi 711mum, I fell in love with Victoria intensive (uploaded pic) and get it every year as this title is neither too simple nor difficult. SAP titles tend to be a little difficult especially from Wu Li Jun.

Hi Janet, it is the first time I bought CL assessment book from this publisher, bought it coz I thought it is close to DD's school exam format πŸ˜‚

It's indeed a steep learning experience where assessment books are concerned...made expensive mistakes and yet have to zip up or else kena scolding :stupid:
There's always a contradiction-if not many titles in market, we find it a headache to bring kids up to standard...but TOO many titles, authors & publishers, it's even harder for us parents to buy the correct ones.

I have 2 kids...one going to P6 next year. But headache is not buying assessment for him but for the one going to P2 bcos I don't know what to expect. For eg, heuristics isn't found in her P1 textbook this year but it was taught.

:offtopic: Heuristics has never been taught from P1 to P3 in DD's school  :slapshead: , skill can only be acquire from enrichment classes, that's why we see their business booming.

                  Hi Janet,

Request you to help post the pictures of the books you mentioned above. Since we are not chinese but DD is taking chinese as MT in school, I feel clueless :scratchhead: without pictures to find assessment book for her.

Pictures makes easy for me to go to popular and show to salesperson to guide me to the book location.

I am really thankful to all mummies/daddies here who have posted pictures making it easy for parents like me πŸ™‚

                  :thankyou:

                    Good Morning! :grphug:
  \"hands & legs not co-ordinating again!\" πŸ˜‰ - they brought me into Popular bookstore yesterday evening after having dinner with a dear friend at Clementi Mall

Dear friend teased me,\" the shopping mall has other more stores for you to shop and yet you end up here!\" :rotflmao:

Anyway, saw the above - prominently placed where my eyes won't miss it! :pokeeye: I flipped thru - like the content as it has the 词语 explanation for every chapter. The 练习 is every 2 chapters one exercise so DD1 will be happy as no need to do every topic! πŸ˜‰

Saw this book at popular yesterday. Couldn't find its higher Chinese version. Or is there even one for HCL? And idea?

doubt there’s a HCL version for that title.
