Understand that Bintan accepts S$. So is it absolutely not necessary to exchange Rupiah?
Also, what else to do in Bintan besides pool, sea, and sand? -
Any mummies going to batam soon can help buy things? :rahrah:

Anyone stay at Angsana Bintan before? Is it nice?
i have stayed there a couple of times. unless you are comparing with banyan tree else this is not bad. service wise not bad and given that it is tied up with banyan tree you can ask them to arrange transport for you to go banyan for dinning or spa and charge to your room. -

Sigh - - never never book last min trips without any prior research.
I will let you folks know how it went. Hopefully it's a nice surprise given my very low expectations now. Keeping fingers crossed ... -

Based on tripadvisor reviews, Bintan Lagoon is super expensive and staff are not service-minded.
One traveller wrote \"This is just simply the worst holiday I have ever been on and I will never recommend this place to even my worst enemy\".

I read the reviews, seemed like most of the travellers were disappointed with their Bintan trips. Be it Bintan Lagoon or Nirwana.
