Yes, not all gep and e/f go to rgs, some by choice. My estimation is only about 8-10 from mainstream go to rgs. Can a knowledgeable parent confirm or refute please? Can’t remember if it was mentioned in the thread before.

KSP:
Of course not. Very few mainstreamers get DSA into RGS so applying to RGS via S1 posting would require a minimum of 260. It would be quite incredible if all the E and F girls scored >260. Remember also that these stats are for last year's P6 girls who didn't do as well as the year before them. A lot more girls from the 2009 batch got into RGS.
That means not all GEP and E/F go to RSG. -
(3 GEP classes + E/F classes ) = approx. (75 + 80) = 155 pupils
64 out of 155 is … 41.3 %.
let’s watch out for 2011 batch. -
Thanks for your kind advice on the HMT lesson and the school bus arrangement

Seeing all the discussion here on PSLE scores, I need to start giving my girl some sense of \"reality\". Even though school term has not started, I can feel the \"kiasuism\" in me increasing everyday.....

hi Ming,
when she start 2012 P3 - reality will seep in gradually, she’ll be more mature. The school strong waves and ‘tide’ somehow push her along, ‘wake’ her up afresh. Honeymoon days from P1 to P2 were over.
bring her along to attend P3 curriculum briefing with you. Explain to her that at end of P3 - she’ll experience her 1st round of musical chair movement, to decide which 2013 P4 class she goes to.
at end of P4 - she’ll face the second round of musical chair, to decide which 2014 P5 class she goes to. from P5, stabilize. -
Aiyo, then I have to wake my princess. She is still in her dreamland.

This mummy here need to wake up 1st.
I still enjoying the honeymoon P1 & 2. So far no stress no pressure. DD has been coping pretty much on her own.
I did tell DD how the school split the classes but that is about it. Guess personally, I am ok so long as she does not fall below average. Rest of the stuff, take it as they come. -

Great surprise to me is that why did they left out the statistics for NUSH for Maths and Science if they bother to include stats for the School of the Arts (SOTA) - specialised independent school or even mentioned Bukit Batok school ??? Are they fearful of influence of NUSH over RGS
I am more amused then anything else ? FYI , the top girl RGPS (GEP) for 2010 PSLE has chosen NUSH instead of traditional choice RGS. My DD (not the top girl) has also opted for NUSH instead of RGS at DSA preference stage as she felt NUSH can offer something different.
Anyway the statistics for NUSH 2011 - 5 from GEP and 2 mainstream ( 7 in total)
Be glad to know the 2012 figures b'cos the RGPS 2011 batch of 7 have done extremely well in NUSH Year1.
