Does anyone know whether we should start with book 1 of 四五快读 after we finish 二三快读 or can we start with book 2 or 3 instead?

You should start book 1 of 四五快读 because most words are not covered in 二三快读.

For some words that are repeated in 四五快读, you just go through it faster lor.

Actually you don't need to buy 二三快读 coz my DS2 started using 四五快读 when he was 2 yrs old. Moreover both 四五快读 and 二三快读 are the same to me except that both are package differently.

笑猫日记系列 is one of DD 最爱, think we will continous to support so long that the author 杨红樱 continous to publish the book.

Just to share. iPad has some nice si wu kuai du app which is very useful when it comes to coaching our kids with the words. I realized my gal learn faster with the apps, as there are games and assessment on the words learnt.

For the apps how much do they cost? can search using \"si wu kuai du \"?

Thanks for your reply. Just started on lesson 2 today. She seems to remember the words with about 3 revision, but jus to make sure it goes to her long term memory I revise with her for 5 times using the games n she really likes it alot! But I had only jus started, hopefully I can successfully teach her using this resource.

Bought one 杨红樱 笑猫日记系列book. Read the first page but did not really like it and so did not continue reading. There are many new chinese books in the library. I have borrowed the books on 汪小小，another series is 张君伟一年级，二年，all the ways to P6 for ds to read. He enoyed reading these books as they are very humorous and it is about school life, something that he can relate to.
