From the website, you will find CHIJ Kellocks CCA. Extremely impressive. I doubt many schools can match that. CHI Kellocks education very holistic.

I went to the school to take a look last week. On arrival, a girl was pasting some posters on a pillar smiled at me. So sweet! I walked around and when I saw her again, I asked her some questions regarding the school. She was articulated very well and volunteered more information. She was so proud of her school and encouraged me that there would be no regret if I put my girl there. WOW!!!

Frankly, I would suggest you enroll your child into either Radin Mas or CHIJ (kellock). Being a student from CHIJ (kellock), I would say that the school was very balanced - in academics & in a child's well-being. Now that I'm pursuing my secondary school education, I have a fellow classmate who is from Radin Mas and she has also expressed to be on the views about her school. Both schools are not only able to achieve rather pleasing results but they also encourage a well-rounded education. šŸ™‚

Do you know anybody from other schools to come to such a conclusion? 🤷

Hi Smile smile, CHIJ strength in sports and range of CCA were the key factors why I decided to choose it rather than ZDPS although I find both sch have similar programs.

Trouble_teen96 - thanks for the feedback

My backup plan is actually Cantoment which is 1-2 km. but looking at the situation, with only 30 over vacancies left, chances of me getting in will be very low too.

Was told that RMPS is 77 balloting for 52 vancancies.

And if my DS name wasn't called, how should I go abt to put him in the waiting list for RMPS?
Putting in waiting list is as good as zero chance. The Phase 2B being ablloted out I assuem that he/she is in the waiting list. Then with 30+ being balloted out also in the wait list?

Only chance is to get in at P4 where a group of 10-15 GEP being posted out. other than that you have to liase with the school principal.

I suddenly recalled that a new primary school will be built along Alexandra Road (opposite Gan Eng Seng Secondary). Read about it 1 or 2 years ago. Totally forgot about it until just now, i passed by the land. They are doing the piling of foundation now. Guess it will be ready in 2 years' time?

Great then maybe in P1 Registration of 2013 this school would be listed in Bukit merah area. Maybe with some publicity like Beacon what IT school then sure can draw some crowd. :imcool:

Hi all! Any idea why Is Blangah Rise Primary school is so unpopular?

                http://www.asiaone.com/News/Education/Story/A1Story20081120-102138.html

Blangah Rise have certain good PSLE students with good performance.
Cannot understand why so many years still not popular at all.
                Location no good?

Haha....but there is already Gan Eng Seng Primary Sch.....maybe can call it Prince Philip Pri Sch or Prince Charles Pri Sch....since the new sch is surrounded by these 2 roads. We have Princess Elizabeth Pri (in Bukit Batok) anyway. Hahaha.

I think i might be sending my kids to this school. When my older girl is in Pri 1,this sch would be 4 years old(it will start in 2014). No PSLE results yet but at least my kids are in a brand new sch with brand new facilities! šŸ˜„ And it's within 1 km from my place! I think i can see it from my flat too.....since i can see the church that is somewhere behind it from my flat now.
