      ksi:
The irony here is the ones who mooted the idea of the gifting at the D&D with sponsorship were the parents and the ones complaining were also the parents.

and then blame the school! really sick .............they have all the freedom not to participate and no one would blame them nor victimise them

Did we slam the school? :? Don't think so.

          Tnp also reported the story.

the original post will not be edited. it will apply to those who don’t read the website in details but just follow the website headline blindly and start all kinds of negative comments

In my opinion, it’s not a big deal at all. Don’t want to give, then don’t give. Not compulsory, not obligated. Can ignore. My two ds are in the sch, and when I receive such notices from the PSG, it’s entirely up to me to give or not. What’s there to complain?

that website’ credibility is getting from bad to worse by always twisting facts…other forumers also pointed out in other discussion threads how they twisted certain facts, in order to maintain some "anti-establishment" view, die die must try their best to slant it that way and fan the the anti-gov’t die-hards

                      Correct me if I'm wrong...

The intention to give teachers presents of certain $$ value, and is organized by CHS Management Committee, CHS Alumni and the Parent Support Group (PSG).

This intention is in the 'gray area' as MC/Alumni/PSG (parents) would deemed as having vested interest if their children are still studying in the school, compared to non MC/Alumni/PSG (parents).

Similar to school's service provider A giving teacher's day presents to teachers... When service provider B didn't.

So is this intention same? Right or wrong?

                      You tell me... 🤷

I do not understand your point in red. Care to elaborate?
Also, I cannot see the similarity in your service providers example because parents and service providers are not similar to me. :?
