Ngee Ann Primary
-
streaming is done at:-
end of P2 into P3, and
end of P4 into P5.
so after streaming,
pupils remain in the same class for (P3 and P4), and for (P5, P6).
which are the top few classes for P5, P6 ?
is there a lot of homework for these classes ?
overall, how you find the Teachers in Upper primary @ Ngee Ann? -

For the PSLE, they only released the names of students who scored higher than 250. There are only 24 of them in the whole P6 cohort. A students in the 16th position got 267, but I'm not sure what the 1st students score.

The top classes may change somtimes but for this year, it was Unity for both levels. There tend to be teachers who go down hard on the students in P5 preparation for PSLE.
Overall, I felt that different teachers teach in different ways. Like my form teacher teaches us with lots of experiments/ hands on activities rather than reading of the textbook. And a friend of mine says that her maths teacher will get them to do worksheets after worksheets. So it is really on which way the child is more comfortable with.
