      FQW:

P3 classes are streamed based on all 3 P2 subjects [eng, HCL & math].
      Based on what result ? SA2? SA1+SA2? Or ..?

For this yr's P2, shoud be based on \"holistic assessment\" [a series of mini-tests from T1-3] plus SA2. In terms of weightage, sch should be updating P2 parents in due time, hopefully soon, to avoid a repeat of last year's debacle.

Last yr, JRLam & I witnessed a very entertaining tennis match between P & (some) Ps. 🦆

The weightage should be indicated in student handbook, unless its changes again. For streaming from p3 to p4, only the core subjects are included. In P3, they may separate the higher ability Chinese students from those not, but they all take the same paper, there isnt a subj called HCL in exam, only CL. I think P4 is the same, if I remember correctly.

The main diff btw p3 & 4 is - Maths class is streamed to best 4 and the rest.

Can those parents with kids in TTLT classes enlighten me pls?

When will we receive the letter notifying them on which subj are they taking ie EL or M? Do ALL ex-p3 who passed 1st round GEP selection but not the 2nd round get to attend this course? Is it compulsory?

              When will TTLT class starts?

              Thanks!

After a long hiatus, I’m back in this forum.

I have two kids in PHPPS.
                DS - Teamwork 8
                DD - Responsibility 7

Are there any parents who have children in the same class as well?

Thanks for the clarification. So starting P4, they'll have math banding?

Yup. Math banding starts in P4. only those who got above 90% in P3 SA2 math can get into M1 class.

Even those did not get past the GEP 1st round can still be selected for TTLT. So there is still hope for everyone.

TTLT is not compulsory. I do not know about the EL one, but my son has no regrets joining the MA one.
