Why do men like potatoes so much? DH also wallops all the potatoes in my curry. His other fave dish is fried potatoes with baked beans / tomato sauce which his mom makes. I don't dare to eat potatoes coz they go straight to your thighs...

My DH likes French fries. He has French fries at least 3 times a week.

        1. Japanese potato curry
        2. Potato salad
        3. ABC Soup
        4. Potato with minced pork
        5. Baked potato with any topping (delifrance)
        6. Curry chicken with potato

        All his favourite potato dishes.

I can't eat potato so much unless I really want to look like a potato. DH is lucky. Slim body. Waist only 30 inches despite eating so much potato!

Thanks nebbermind for the happy call pan roasted kantang. Unlike most ladies, I love potatoes! Yum - fried (still like but not so much like before), stew, baked, mashed, steamed, hot or cold (not cooled) - all like!

                        I love potato too.

There is this recipe - cube potato n luncheon meat with ketchup sauce which I used to make before I was married. Hubby objects to cooking this dish for the boys as he has an issue with luncheon meat.

There is also a potato stew made with dried shrimps and garlic, 4 small to medium sized potato and 3/4 bowl of water + soy sauce + oyster sauce. Hubby + 2 boys will finish up the whole dish. The problem is getting the right type of potato for this simple dish. I find it tastes best with the Australia potato.

I was watching a Korean entertainment programme earlier. One of the participants made potato croc…(cant remember the spelling). It is mashed potato, used to wrap some cheese/crab meat, then pan fried like a flattened pancake. Anyone done this type before?

The other day, I saw a potato recipe - cut into strips, pan fry with water. keep adding water to cook the potato until soften, add in beef strips. Looks similar to MIL’s pork with potato strips.
