Thought of just starting a thread on this for us to discuss on tips :lol: , insider news :evil: , market news, etc...

Let me get the ball rolling. I am a \"emotional\" investor due to the \"feeling\" for the company. Did have some expensive lessons after listening to \"insider\" news on forums. Ended up holding shares that I am still stuck :moneyflies: :clubmyself: But I learnt from it and have since become less trusting and only trust myself. My belief is \"If it's so easy, the other guy is already rich\" and \"There is no free lunch in this world\".

For SGX, I am a genting fan and I still believe in holding a long term view. I also like to play on US market and i just love Citibank and still believe on its long term potential. It's my favorite bank too.

So pls come and share your tips. I believe being KSP we are more responsible 😎

Sorry why not use IG or oanda?

I use City Index because I am used to the platform and functionality.
Also, I quite like the services provided by them, don't have to queue or gets responded by irritating operators who doesn't know his/her thing. (happened before) πŸ˜ƒ

Cash based ETF gives out dividend, and ETF provides diversification.

is it better to open $A time deposit with the bank,even though the commision spread would be obviously great,
or just buy from money changer to save on the spread?
If it is better to get bank account ,which bank is efficient for these fund transfers?
