<![CDATA[* St Andrew's JC (SAJC)]]>DD is opting for JC in 2 years time. I am seriously considering SAJC as an option in view of the fact it is just a 4 mins walk from home. As JC students spent almost entire day in school, being near home is a very important factor.

I think the JC students can enter via either the secondary or primary school gates and then there is a shortcut to the jc blocks via an internal overhead bridge.

Are students mostly mugging or play hard, study hard type? Which subject is the strongest?

From what i know, its UAS 76-77.
I just saw 1 SAJC couple in half uniform holding hands and hugging inside mrt from Potong Pasir. 🙁

Have been hearing bad feedback on SAJC culture these few years.

This year (2019, students born 2002 for 2018 O-level), for Science stream -
Cut-off-point for (Temasek, Eunoia, Dunman High) JCs, are all the same, at 9 points.
SAJC (Science ) is 10 points, just 1 point behind.

(Victoria & Nanyang) JC Science COP : 6

National (Science) COP : 7

ACJC (Science) COP : 8

I think they are known more for sports than arts. You could check the grades from university websites. But general guideline would be at least A or B.

I dunno about the working hard part, but during my time is was play hard, party harder.

I recall that we always seem to have a celebration for some event every week... both in school and outside. And every weekend is party time. 😛
Me and my classmates always wondered how we managed to keep up with our schoolwork back then.
