Just that if we stop and look closely at people that behave “weirdly”, look without our usual prejudice (which is the difficult for most of us), we can then see mostly it’s all comes down to 2 things: cravings and aversions.

Try preaching that to people who are obsessed with technology or the peeping Toms who are obsessed with peeping and using technology to help them.

The strength of their minds really depend on themselves. Sometimes people claim that they are born like that, what can you do? And truly there are people who are born with a mental condition, they need medication to control themselves, it’s beyond them.

Better way is to learn how to look out for yourself since you cannot control others’ behaviour. Whatever choice people make, they have to accept the consequences themselves. However, there are some choices made that affect the community and society and that requires a strong set of values to think beyond self if one still has the willpower working in them(ie, not a mental condition).
Unfortunately we are in an era not big on values, something that has eroded over time. life goes on until it goes out of hand and we will know. :lol:

Or we can learn to accept there will always be imperfections. The very thinking everything must goes according to one wish itself cause problems. Acceptance reduces tensions. Don’t crave for what we think should happen and don’t avert things we think should not happen. Because this world is not perfect. Craving is not the same as wanting to improve. Cravings happen when we are “at all cost” (loosely speaking) mentality even when it’s not possible. Averting is not same as solving problems. Averting happens when we don’t accept the facts.

It’s take a long time of constant practice of not craving and not averting. But day by day we will get better than yesterday
