Sometimes people claim that they are born like that, what can you do? And truly there are people who are born with a mental condition, they need medication to control themselves, it’s beyond them.

Better way is to learn how to look out for yourself since you cannot control others’ behaviour. Whatever choice people make, they have to accept the consequences themselves. However, there are some choices made that affect the community and society and that requires a strong set of values to think beyond self if one still has the willpower working in them(ie, not a mental condition).
Unfortunately we are in an era not big on values, something that has eroded over time. life goes on until it goes out of hand and we will know.

sushi88

Reply to Whut? on Tue, 28 Feb 2023 23:21:10 GMT

sushi88\" post_id=\"2099249\" time=\"1677565542\" user_id=\"100857:

We just need more mental institutions in the long run if we are not careful.

Or we can learn to accept there will always be imperfections. Don’t crave for what we think should happen and don’t avert things we think should not happen. Because this world is not perfect. Craving is not the same as wanting to improve. Cravings happen when we are “at all cost” (loosely speaking) mentality even when it’s not possible. Averting is not same as solving problems. Averting happens when we don’t accept the facts.

It’s take a long time of constant practice of not craving and not averting. But day by day we will get better than yesterday

bbbay

Reply to Whut? on Tue, 28 Feb 2023 17:11:48 GMT

NGOs not the same as charities. Generally \"today's minds\" where technology is so readily available....scammers, peeping toms and all kinds of weird behaviour are driven by available high tech these days. We use hi tech to solve problems, they also create some new problems. We are heavily under surveillance wherever we go and in whatever we do these days, believe it or not....I live in a place somewhat like that...it just evolved to be like that. It's good if it deters people from doing bad stuff for fear of being caught hence increases safety for others but it is also bad for people who are obsessed with monitoring people and overdo it sometimes.
