Yeah... this is because of the firewall. If you get it, wait for 5 mins then try again.

I have a theory that we encounter the error if we click too fast to go from page to page. Try slowing down, wait for at least 3s before clicking on the next link. That's what I have been doing so far... :xedfingers:

You might have noticed that we have migrated over to AWS 2 days ago. Our new technical team discovered that the site has been under constant denial of service attacks (DOS) which accounts for why we have been facing so much problems over the last 3 months.

A firewall was set up to kill off anybody which it deems to be \"attacking\" the site. Unfortunately, we have to set it up to be more stringent than usual and this leads to the \"Error 1015\" with the message that you are being \"rate limited\". We apologize for the nasty and raw message but this is a temporary fix. Our technical team is now instrumenting the site so that it will react better to DOS attacks but will require about 2 weeks before the fix can be completed.

In the meantime, if you encounter the \"Error 1015\", please wait a while, about 5 minutes before proceeding. Also, to avoid the \"Error 1015\" problem, please allow some time (about 2s) before clicking and going on to the next link. That seems to work, at least to me. :xedfingers:

I'm so sorry for the outage. It started around 7am today until around 845pm just now. Still don't know what happened but our hosting provider claim there was a site wide issue that impacted more than just our server.

Well, we have gotten a new SI company last month and we will be moving over to a much more virtual provider who would be more stable and faster. Should be able to migrate within a month. Hang tight!

Yeah... the current site still suffers from that intermittent problem. We are working feverishly to migrate the site. It's a pretty tough job because the forum and the portal are 2 different software and we have to integrate them together.
Understand, Chief, appreciate the effort.

Just wondering - do the “bot” accounts (despite the bot verification during sign up 😓 ) affect the forum/site in any ways?
