I’ve been thinking of planning a quick weekend getaway, and wondering if the travel process is smooth now, especially with kids. Would love suggestions on fun spots that don’t require too much planning or long travel time.

I've been there before and found it to be very safe. You can check https://www.travelsafe-abroad.com/south-korea/ for more details on safety in Korea - they rate the overall risk as low. Plus with https://gowithguide.com/korea you can book a local guide to show you around, which can help ease any worries. Seoul especially has so much to see and do. I'm sure wherever you end up going, you'll have a wonderful time celebrating your anniversary! Just try not to overthink it too much. Have fun planning!

asamom

Reply to Overseas Short Vacation on Mon, 12 Feb 2024 06:31:55 GMT

I have been to Japan and South Korea, both very beautiful and peaceful countries. Vietnam is also one of the most peaceful countries in Asia, but I haven’t been there yet. I am from the Philippines, I know it is not safe, but you get to have an idea where to go and how to keep yourself safe after living there for a long time.
