Next year we are planning to visit Hawaii. I always wanted to go there.

In this Thailand case, it is a one-off incident. So the chance of it repeating is low, and public and police are on high alert. Go on and safely enjoy your holiday!

I've spoken with friends who live there now, and the incident in Bangkok has not affected anything. After all, we get murders and fights in Singapore, and it really doesn't have much effect after the initial few days of shock.

I see. It was actually my idea to change destination...cant help but be paranoid due to incident. But I somehow agree with you that security probably has tightened. Might still consider going to Bangkok but will see for the next few weeks (i'm an overthinker lol). Hopefully situation really got better bcoz really want to try tom yum at Jeh O ๐Ÿ˜‚

I've never been to Chiangmai. Me mountain tortoise. The closest I've been to Chiangmai is Bangkok. Thailand is a very strange place for me. It seems like everywhere you want to go is very close to you but yet you know it's many times larger than Singapore. :scratchhead:
