<![CDATA[Family members sharing same birthday]]>Just wondering, how many ppl here have family members sharing same birthday (different years of coz)?


For myself, my 2 dds share the same birthday as my dh. It's purely coincidental as both of them were borned naturally with no induction. First dd water bag burst on the morning of daddy's birthday and delivered in the afternoon. Second dd's contractions came the night before daddy and jie-jie's birthday 5 years later and delivered at 3am the next day. So now all 3 have the same birthday πŸ˜„

I have a few frens with their kids sharing their or their spouse's birthdays too but most are either planned c-sect or by induction.

Anyone care to share their stories?

my parents were born 1 year 8 months apart (same day different month again!) :love:
DD2 and DH are born same day different month :lol:
DD3 and DH share the same Chinese Birthday,
my niece and my aunt share the same birthday,
All DD's were born on the same day of the week.
DD3 and my sis are exactly 2 weeks and many years' apart (again, celebration on same day of the week)...and their BC/NRIC almost same last 5 numbers πŸ˜‰ How's that for co-incidence! :celebrate:

Was great when I was a child since my parents are divorced and I am an only child, mum works/travels a lot but our birthday was one day we would do something together..she started a tradition of gourmet dinners so we would splurge at a fancy restaurant every birthday where she would teach me the finer points of fine dining mannerisms, and when I was older, matching coctails/wine to the meal. πŸ˜‰ She also loved throwing parties which is probably why I love hosting parties at home now! Hmmm, never stopped to think how much she has influenced my personality until now.

In between us, we have 1 brother and 1 sister. The joke is: My whole family don't even know that I am my 2nd brother's 7th year birthday present until I was 6 years old when my birthcert is taken out of the cupboard for P1 registration! Our parents (now 72 and 79 y.o., can't read English) only knows our chinese calendar birthday where we celebrate it with red egg. They can't read English and don't know what is written in the birthcert. I can still remember how my 2nd brother scream when he saw my birthcert when he is 13 y.o.! πŸ˜„

me, my dh and dss do not share the same birthday…but our birthdays are on consecutive months, so we get to have a mini celebration(cake-cutting) and eat cake for 4 months continuous. 😎

Yes, we went out to makan with his family. Coincidentally, my BIL and FIL have birthdays close to each other too, and in the month before DD1 and sashimi.
Haha yah my husb also said that were the 2 most wonderful birthday presents he ever received! But poor him got to celebrate his birthday twice in hospital lol... And I saved 2 treats coz normally I will treat him a nice meal on his birthday πŸ˜„

That's nice! I hope my 2 dds can celebrate their birthdays with their dad in future together as one big family when they grow up too!!

So far I only remembered the ticketing staff at a tour agency did a double take when we got to fill in their DOBs in the booking forms πŸ˜„

More like he combines his birthday with DD1's. We will still wish him happy birthday and give him cards and presents on the day itself though. As for DD2, dunno yet since she was born last year. We celebrated DD2's 1st month with DD1's and sashimi's birthdays this year.

For me my father in law's b'day date is 20th and hubby also 20th though different months.. but for DS1 i got contractions on 20th morning but then he came at 1:00 am the following night so became 21st.. and DS2 I had contractions 20th night but he came at 10 am so also on 21st...


so though very near still very far but different months though!
Haha so urs is same date not same month... that's nice too, at least got something in common !
