yesterday morning prepared a small batch of hamjinbeng, my 2nd attempt. dds like it. when dd1 took the last piece, she asked if we still have anymore…and i so siao go prepared the starter dough again…after a while told myself cannot la 2 batches on 1 day wait too heaty. put it into fridge for this morning use.

ST, me too I m using the recipe (modified sugar/salt/water) fm Cooking with Lu: Ham Chim Peng, which I find better than the previous one. Need to handle the sticky dough though. we have no kungfu

Weather is perfect today

Thanks for asking! So far, so good. She's made a couple of friends, joined a CCA and a Christian group, and seems to be interested in her courses. So far I've been hands-off on the academic front to see how she copes. She has a couple of quizzes next week, so that should be an indication whether she needs more help.
