This means $60 per day and $1800 per month leh.
Hmm.. this is quite a lot of money on groceries. I dont think I spent that much per month.
Not everyday la..some items like milk can last many days.

Do your company give out any NTUC vouchers for their staff? I just received a $500 NTUC vouchers from my company as company gift to staff and I sold it to an ex colleague at $450.

Thank you. Don't overload yourself and make sure you have enough rest. I am happy this weekend as went for a meetup dinner to meet lot of new friends on last Friday night, went for a buffet at United Square with DH last night and just finished a brunch with friends now. Hope father can be discharged in this week.

I really dont know how to deal with the rising costs of living.
There's not a lot we can do about the rising prices. On the individual level, I am now conscious of what are the more expensive items that I buy, and will buy them a bit less often (every 2 weeks intead of weekly, say). If need be, I will switch to cheaper alternatives. I don't think we will get to the point where we really have to just eat less!

Some things will costs more when we break it into smaller batches. I just bought a pkt of 1kg almond slices at $15.50 for my Swedish Cake. Noticed if I buy the 250g pkt, it costs $5.10 which works out to almost 25% & the hassle of going frequently to shop. Gotta to weigh all costs incl time & travel, unless it’s perishables like veggies that can’t keep.

It is common that prices are cheaper if we buy in bulk or bigger packets.
For rice, I usually buy in packs of 10kg
